  I could not have asked for a better experience than the one I had trying on dresses at True North. Katee made me feel so comfortable from the start--she's so friendly, sweet, and accommodating. The relaxed, laid-back vibe from her and the shop made the trying on experience so calm and easy--I didn't feel rushed, confused, or pressured at all. Katee was honest and kind about what did and didn't work with certain dresses, which was appreciated, and had great suggestions while letting me take the lead. The shop has just enough dresses that you are sure to find something that suits your style and shape, but not so many that you are overwhelmed or feeling like you didn't see everything you wanted to see. It's perfectly curated, with enough accessories available to envision your final look without being confusing. While I left my appointment ready to get my dress and all the accessories ordered on the spot, Katee never insisted that I commit to anything--she encouraged me to take all the time I needed to think about it. A wedding dress isn't a small purchase, and Katee understands that completely, both in how special she makes the process and how non-pushy she is about the sale itself. I really hope I never need another wedding dress, but I'll be recommending True North to every bride-to-be I come across !
